Belair National Park (VKFF-0022)
Travelling interstate for work this week and in Adelaide today. It was an early start to the work day so I knocked off work in the afternoon to carry out ham radio operations in a few parks. The first was Belair which was a 30 minute drive from Marion where I was working. I parked in the first car park before the information centre and walked into the national park and saved a few dollars in park fees.
After a 5 minute walk I found a suitable tree to suspend the dipole and a log to sit on. The map below shows my operating position just inside the park entrance.
The photo below show the 20/40 metre fan dipole home made kit.
Antenna raised and elements spread out and pegged.
I carried in both antenna kits but didn’t use the vertical.
