Emily and Jessie Nature Gaps Park (VKFF-1265)

Following West MacDonnell national park it was a 40 minute drive to Emily and Jessie Gaps nature park. I went for a walk through the gap and at the end of the gap is a fence which prevents the public from going any further. On the right hand rock wall in the gap there are aboriginal paintings.

Below are photos from lower and higher points in the gap.

Aboriginal art called the Three Caterpillars

This photo is looking back towards the car park from Emily’s gap.  One of the large tree on the right is where I strung up the dipole.

The yellow X on this Google earth image marks my operating position.

This short video shows the process of setting up the inverted V dipole for the 20/40 metre bands.
